Job Description

Minimum requirements:

Matric
Accounting or Finance Degree
3 - 5 years experience as an Accountant in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
Proficient in accounting software
Strong knowledge of South African tax laws and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full accounting functions
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and reports
Assist with monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
Oversee cash flow, budgeting and forecasting
Handle and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, UIF and any other statutory returns in line with SARS requirements
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants and external stakeholders
Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and decision-making
Identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as market, credit and operational risks
