Accountant

Job Description
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Preparation of management accounts
- Maintain and manage accurate financial records
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax (Companies, Trusts, Personal Tax)
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns
- Preparation and filing of provisional tax
- Managing client portfolios and relationships
- Assisting with growth development of junior staff
Must have the following software experience
:- Pastel
- Xero
- Sage
- Draftworx (Preferable but not compulsory)
- Excel
- Word
- Outlook
- SARS E-Filing
Personal Skills/Attributes
:- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management
- Good work ethic
- Able to work in a demanding deadline driven environment
- Good Understanding or corporate and personal income tax
Qualifications:
- N6 Accounting Qualification
- Registered with an accounting board (Preferable)
