Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate financial reports and statements (IFRS-compliant).
- Manage fixed assets, debtors, and creditors.
- Reconcile payments, balances, stock, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee expense control and risk management at branch level.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly journals; maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Review stock counts and monitor cash sales in parts/workshop.
- Control branch financial activities and ensure adherence to policies.
- Support junior staff and proactively suggest accounting improvements.
- BCom Degree in Accounting (or similar).
- Minimum 3 years' accounting experience, preferably in the motor industry.
- Code 8 driver's license.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Confident, proactive, able to work independently and in a team.
