Job Summary This position is office-based and ideal for a professional who is comfortable working in a high-volume, process-driven environment, with experience in both manual and automated accounting systems.Key Responsibilities:- Perform cashbook processing, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions
- Maintain general ledger accounts and support the month-end accounting process
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Administer the fixed asset register, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
- Ensure all accounting processes are compliant with applicable financial regulations and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial controls and reporting accuracyRequirements:
- A BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a high-volume transactional environment
- Strong working knowledge of manual accounting processes and exposure to automated financial systems
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages
