Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical

Accountant

with

advanced Microsoft Excel skills

to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and performing in-depth data analysis using Excel. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a structured environment, and can leverage Excel to streamline and optimize financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers. Design, build, and manage complex Excel-based financial models, templates, and dashboards. Automate recurring financial tasks and reports using Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query, etc.). Perform variance analysis and support budgeting and forecasting processes. Manage and analyze large datasets to support decision-making and financial planning. Assist in month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies. Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits. Support ad hoc analysis and reporting needs from management and other departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.

Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel

(including but not limited to: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA/macros). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or ERP systems). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Microsoft Business Central experience beneficial
