A fast-growing startup advisory firm providing operational finance and fractional CFO services to innovative UK early-stage companies is seeking an ambitious
Financial
Accountant to be a part of their team.
This role offers the opportunity to own core accounting operations, build robust and scalable processes, and deliver high-quality financial reporting for a portfolio of innovative UK startup clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Take total ownership of the bookkeeping engine and deliver high-precision monthly management accounts. Navigate and manage all UK compliance requirements, from VAT and Corporation Tax to Annual Accounts. Direct the end-to-end payroll process to ensure seamless and timely execution. Lead the onboarding journey for new startups, embedding them into our firm's high-performance workflows. Act as a technical troubleshooter for ad-hoc needs, including audit support and historical data remediation. Design and refine the systems and processes that allow us to deliver world-class accounting at scale.
Requirements:
Qualified Professional Accountant (SA)
0-2 years of post-article experience. Experience in managing end-to-end accounting functions with precision. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking full accountability for your work with an eagerness to learn and grow. UK accounting or compliance exposure is advantageous.Salary and Benefits:
* R35,000 - R45,000 CTC / month (depending on relevant experience)
