Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with expertise in the automotive industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and conducting financial analysis within the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and banking activities
- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP standards
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and timely
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact financial operations
- Assist with audits and tax filings as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the automotive industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
