We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Accountant

to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory regulations, and internal policies. Assist in the development and management of budgets and financial forecasts. Perform regular account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP). Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors as needed. Monitor cash flow and oversee financial transactions. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decisions. Handle SARS submissions, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
