We are looking for someone who can work under limited supervision, and be responsible for moderately complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements in the business.
What you will do:
- Work closely with the CFO, Head of Finance, Financial Reporting Specialist and Accountant to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.
- Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy.
- Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure contribution to the organisationsxe2x80x99 monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with year-end preparation and procedures
- Provides financial support to team members
- Undertake financial administration activities for the organisation
- B Comm (Acc) / BComm Honours Degree or Equivalent, CA (SA)
- Min 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience at Accountant level or similar
- Strong problem-solving experience is essential
- SAP experience
- Relevant South African legislation
- Relevant South African good business governance and accounting regulations and knowledge on how to best implement these
