Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Creditors Management: Process invoices, follow up with suppliers, resolve discrepancies, and complete account reconciliations
• Debtors Management: Process payments, produce statements, collect overdue accounts, and perform reconciliations
• Banking Operations: Process bank deposits and complete bank reconciliations
• General Accounting: Handle employee expenses, credit card reconciliations, invoice creation, and maintain fixed asset register
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and year-end reports, process general journals including depreciation and provisions
• Record Keeping: Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with record retention requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Matric with Accounting
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting (minimum requirement)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in commerce and industry
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills
• Previous experience with financial software packages essential
