Accountant
Job Description
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Cape Town Parts Hub
Hours: Mon - Fri (08:00 - 17:00)
Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements and reports for review by management
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a regular basis
Analyze financial data and provide insights to help improve financial performance
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
Review and process invoices and expense reports
Monitor and track expenses to ensure they are within budget
Assist with internal and external audit processes
Provide support to the finance team as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
CPA certification preferred
2-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with financial analysis and forecasting
