The opportunity
To improve our services, we are constantly looking to expand our existing forex products, and provided an advanced client experience. We are looking for an Account Manager who is well presented, confident, a team-player, deliverable-focused and keen to be part of a rapidly growing company!
What you'll do
In person visits to clients to assist with and explain the onboarding process
Assist with and understand admin related to forex transactions
Work with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships
Manage multiple forex accounts for individuals and companies
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Help develop initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and retention
Retain clients and build strong, trusting relationships
Understand client needs and identify new business opportunities within your portfolio
Determine root causes for customer success or failure and drive requirements for product or process enhancement and development as needed
Manage customer activity for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to closure on open issues
Assist customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings as required
What you'll need
Minimum 2 years' experience in a client-facing role
Ideally a tertiary degree in management, finance, administration or similar
Technical literacy & competency (i.e., you're able to easily learn new systems)
An understanding of forex would be beneficial
Fluent in English (proficiency in Afrikaans would also be beneficial)
Strong administrative and people skills
Strong mathematical competency
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Comfortable as a self-starter working remotely
Outstanding communication skills within a remote team and with external clients
Valid SA drivers license and vehicle
Based in Johannesburg or Pretoria, South Africa
