Purpose of the role:
The Academic Digital Transformation Lead will lead the digitalisation and innovation initiatives that enhance the student learning journey across Eduvos. This strategic role drives the integration of AI, automation, learning technologies, and data analytics to streamline teaching, learning, assessment, and academic operations.
Working across faculties, academic content development, academic operations, governance, IT, and student support, the role ensures a cohesive, digitally empowered educational experience. The Lead combines expertise in higher education, project management, digital technologies, and learning analytics to improve educational outcomes, operational efficiencies, and data-driven decision-making within Eduvos.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum qualification level:
Postgraduate qualification in Educational Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Digital Project Management, Higher Education Management or a related field.
Additional qualifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2), Learning Analytics, or Digital Strategy an advantage. will be advantageous
A recognised qualification in Higher Education (advantageous)
Minimum experience:
A least of 4 years' experience in higher/adult education, with exposure to academic operations, curriculum development, instructional design, or learning technologies.
Extensive project management experience - leading cross-functional digitalisation initiatives.
Experience in leading successful digital transformation projects -preferably within education or related sectors.
Experience in deploying AI, automation, or learning analytics solutions in a complex organisation context.
Practical experience with learning management systems (preferably Moodle) and Microsoft Suite (especially data analysis via Excel/ PowerBI).

Duties and Responsibilities
As the
Academic Digital Transformation Lead,
you will be responsible for the following:
Clear digitalisation roadmap developed and approved by Dean: Curricula and Research and Executive Head of Academics.
Development of digitalisation budget and overall project milestones, in consultation with above managers and Finance.
Milestones delivered according to timeline and budget.
Effective collaboration, change management and project leadership across academic departments.
Accountable for on-time and within-scope project delivery.
High stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
Digitalisation initiatives implemented that streamline and improve the student learning experience (in terms of predetermined metrics such as student success rate, student retention, students' online engagement rates, student satisfaction reports, lecturer and student support stakeholder feedback).
AI tools and automated processes piloted and scaled to improve efficiency, teaching, learning and assessment workflows.
Learning analytics dashboards and reports implemented and actively used by academic and operational teams.
Data quality and utility improved.
Existing digital platforms (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Moodle, SIM) optimised.
Recommendations for new tools or systems where justified; successful pilots and adoption where applicable
Regular reporting to senior management on progress, risks, challenges and successes.
Strategic recommendations made to academic management on a quarterly basis, to improve ongoing digital transformation at Eduvos.
