Content Writer Manager

for our

Law faculty

.


Purpose of the role:





To manage a content writing team to provide all digital learning content and assessment for the Law faculty.

Minimum Requirements



A minimum of a Masters qualification in the Law field. At least three years' experience of lecturing and / or developing study materials for Higher Education. Publishing of academic journals will be advantageous. Two years management experience; or demonstrated management potential

Duties and Responsibilities



Accountable for the delivery of learning materials to a faculty / Accountable and responsible for end-to-end content & assessment development need Budget management Planning and executing all development deliverables per block offerings for the academic year Work with leads to balance and equalise distribution of workloads content writer lead(s) and content writers Monitor development progress and set deadlines for all development deliverables Ensure quality assurance for all development deliverables Reporting - regular feedback as per leader's requirements Escalations / Decisions / Problem solving - Case Management ticket resolution where required Resourcing and capacity management (people; equipment) - Identifying the specialized needs per qualification on offer: software and hardware where applicable Ensure operational efficiency via processes & systems Talent acquisition, selection, onboarding - Source suitable content writer lead(s) and content writers Individual performance - role clarity and objectives; reviews; feedback; corrective actions. Training and coaching of team
