A Vacancy for two Registered Nurses in Plettenberg Bay

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years' nursing experience, registration with the Nursing Council.

A commitment to ongoing professional development through in-house training and annual updates.

Compensation & Scheduling:

Enjoy flexible shifts from 06:00 to 18:00 for day duty and 18:00 to 06:00 for night shifts.

Lunchtimes are an hour, with designated tea breaks, ensuring a balanced workday.

Professional Commitments:

Arrive at least 10 minutes before your shift, participate in handovers.

Ensure all documentation and including leave form is current and compliant with South African Nursing Council standards.

Work Environment & Conduct:

Always wear prescribed uniforms and name badges, treat residents with dignity and respect, maintain confidentiality

Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

Medication & Resident Care:

Administer medicines strictly with doctor's prescriptions and manage medication logistics.

Emergency care in accordance with legal and institutional protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct resident assessments, manage health and social needs, supervise carers, and ensure safety procedures including fire drills are followed.

Keep accurate records, update resident files, and coordinate with families and medical professionals.

Duties & Activities:

Lead daily rounds, oversee medication distribution, facilitate engaging activities, and support residents' participation in social programs.

Ensure emergency equipment is maintained and participate in training exercises.

Additional Requirements:

Be adaptable today and night shifts, prepared to work overtime when needed.

Handle administrative tasks such as ordering stock and maintaining equipment.
