Curro Holdings seeks to appoint a Swimming Head Coach (full-time) at Curro Edenvale in Germiston to commence duties in January 2026
The Head Swimming Coach leads all aspects of the school or club's swimming program, providing coaching excellence to all squads, ensuring program development and growth, and maintaining the highest standards in safety, training, team management, and aquatics operations.

Key Performance Areas
Coaching & Program Development
Lead the coaching of all swimming squads (from pre-primary to high school and club)
Design and deliver tailored training programs to meet swimmers' diverse needs
Mentor swimmers to reach national competition levels where possible
Ensure safety and correct methodology at all times
Implement growth and development initiatives for the swimming programme
Team, Program & Facility Management
Manage and lead the team of swimming coaches
Oversee program quality, evaluation, and all aspects of aquatic facilities
Produce and present annual reports on program status, achievements, and improvements
Ensure effective use of Team Manager and Meet Manager software (where applicable)
Continuous Learning & Development
Stay current with latest coaching techniques, methodologies, and trends
Undertake regular professional development in swimming and related areas
Other Duties
Comply with all safeguarding, child protection, and health & safety standards
Perform additional responsibilities as required by the Aquatics Manager or Management
Qualifications, experience and skills
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a swimming coach
Grade 12 (NQF 4)
SSA Level 1 Certificate
SSA Learn to Swim (LTS) Certificate
Valid Driver's License
Level 1 First Aid and valid CPR Certificate
Advantageous:
Degree in a related field
Experience as Head Coach of a program
Proven track record of producing Junior National swimmers or higher (advantageous)
Experience and knowledge of Team Manager and Meet Manager software (advantageous)
