3D Designer and Architectural Visualiser for International Interior Design Company
Remote position- Candidates to be based in CT
Reporting to: 3D Visualizer Team Lead & Studio Manager
Role Summary:
The 3D Visualizer is responsible for creating high-quality, photorealistic visualizations of interior design concepts, ensuring accuracy, detail, and artistic appeal. Specializing in luxury and hospitality interiors, this role requires expertise in 3D modeling, lighting, texturing, and rendering techniques to translate design intent into compelling visual formats.
Working closely with designers, architects, and project teams, the 3D Visualizer ensures that all renders effectively showcase materials, lighting, space planning, and aesthetics, enhancing presentations and supporting project approvals.
Primary Responsibilities:
3D Visualization & Rendering

• Develop high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renders, ensuring all elements are detailed and visually accurate.
• Work with detailed furniture, decor, lighting, and material applications to enhance realism.
• Set up and optimize lighting to create dynamic and atmospheric interiors.
• Use Corona Renderer to produce high-quality, photorealistic interior renders with accurate material reflections and lighting effects.
• Produce static visualizations and animated walkthroughs that showcase interior and architectural spaces.
• Independently create visuals from scratch, using reference materials, sketches, and CAD drawings.
• Ensure all ideas are represented as attractively and realistically as possible, aligning with design intent.
• Optimize rendering settings for efficiency, balancing speed and quality for large-scale projects.
• Use Photoshop for final render enhancements and post-production touch-ups, including colour correction and detailing.

Collaboration & Planning

• Work closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers, ensuring accurate visualization of project concepts.
• Assist in design planning and decision-making by providing accurate spatial visualizations.

Software & Technical Execution

• Utilize industry-standard 3D design tools, including:

o 3DS Max, Corona Renderer, V-Ray.
o Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects) for post-production.
o Other software like SketchUp, D5, Vantage, Lumion, Enscape, and After Effects is an advantage.

• Stay updated with advancements in rendering software and visualization techniques, continuously improving visualization quality.
• Explore AI advancements and tools in this space to enhance visualization workflows.

File Management & Quality Control

• Ensure all 3D assets, textures, and models are properly organized and stored for efficient workflow.
• Maintain consistency in rendering quality across multiple projects, ensuring brand alignment.
• Implement high-level attention to detail in lighting, textures, and materials, achieving a true-to-life effect.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certification in 3D Visualization, Computer Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field (degree is beneficial but not required).

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in 3D visualization, preferably in the hospitality, luxury interior design, or high- end commercial spaces.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in 3Ds Max (complex polygon modeling, texturing, lighting).
• Expertise in Corona Renderer for realistic interior renders.
• Proficiency in Photoshop for post-production and image editing.
• Strong artistic and technical skills, ensuring visually compelling and accurate representations.
• Ability to manage multiple visualization tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, achieving photorealism in final renders.
