About the role

We are seeking passionate 2X Care Hub Support Partners who will contribute to our collective commitment to make a difference to the lives of those who are impacted by harmful and disrespectful behaviour. Providing contact and support, you will facilitate appropriate and safe referral pathways using a strengths-based approach and practice. You will have a background and experience of trauma informed approaches to facilitate and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
The 2X part-time Care Hub Support Partners will initially be on a 3-months contract basis starting as soon as possible. They will form part of the Business Conduct Office Care Hub Team reporting to the Care Hub Manager and roles will later be filled permanently.
Reporting to the Manager, Care Hub you will:
Take a person-centered and professional approach to conducting safety and risk assessments and identifying needs of those impacted by harmful and disrespectful behavior
Take all reasonable actions to meet these needs within the boundaries of workplace procedures
Develop and implement case management plans to support impacted people
Respond to confidential calls from people impacted by harmful and disrespectful behavior who want to make a disclosure or anyone who has a related query
Explain Rio Tinto processes and options for wellbeing support, practical support, and resolution options (including formal investigations)
Manage the coordination and facilitation of resolution options with all key stakeholders (including resolutions such as mediation, training, behavior coaching etc.)
Monitoring of resolution implementation and maintaining contact with those impacted and key stakeholders throughout the process including management of case closure and reintegration plans
Coaching leaders on how to support those impacted through a Trauma Informed Care approach
Supporting people to access the Family and Domestic Violence policy and supporting services
Actively contribute to ensuring Care Hub provide a safe and inclusive experience for all people
Work effectively in both a standalone role and as part of a global team and be competent in the use of electronic case management systems

A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in social work or other tertiary level qualifications in health, behavioural/social sciences, community services or a related discipline that provides a sound understanding and knowledge of assessing and working with people who have experienced trauma.
Experience in case management within healthcare, counselling, social work, psychology, human resources or other related industries
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Trauma Informed Care and supporting diverse people who have experienced trauma
Demonstrated authentic, compassionate, empathetic responses in front line service delivery
One of the two roles must be Bi-lingual (French and English)
