Crew Life At Sea is currently recruiting

Youth Staff

on behalf of one of our prestigious cruise line partners. This dynamic position is ideal for enthusiastic individuals passionate about working with children and teens in an exciting, multicultural environment. You'll be responsible for organizing and leading age-appropriate activities for children aged 6 months to 17 years, helping to ensure a safe, engaging, and fun experience for young guests onboard.

All candidates placed through Crew Life At Sea are hired directly by the cruise line and are never charged recruitment or placement fees.

Role Responsibilities:



Organize and facilitate a variety of educational and recreational activities based on age groups (Babies to Teens) Lead programs in activity centers, open decks, and throughout the ship Act as a role model to youth by promoting leadership, fairness, and friendly behavior Maintain safety and awareness of children's whereabouts at all times Communicate tactfully with parents and guardians Assist with meals, rest times, and basic care for younger children Host teen programs, parties, and DJ teen events Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of activity areas and equipment Support youth evacuation procedures and emergency response as needed Assist with shipboard programs like Shore Excursions or Sports Deck activities when assigned

Who We're Looking For:



Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation, or a related field (or international equivalent) 3-5 years of experience working with children aged 6 months-17 years in settings such as schools, camps, or youth organizations Strong leadership and communication skills CPR and child life-saving certification preferred Comfortable using computers and basic Microsoft Office programs English proficiency (B1 or higher); other languages such as Spanish, French, or German are a plus Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs and participate in shipboard emergency procedures
