Job Advert Summary

To promote and increase engagement with the PPS Metropolis mobile game and drive PPS brand awareness among university students. The Youth Activator will be responsible for getting students to register on the app, interact with it regularly, and drive qualified leads for new PPS memberships, ultimately increasing conversions on campus.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:



Registered student at Stellenbosch University (undergraduate or postgraduate). Strong campus network and well-connected among peers. Passion for entrepreneurship, personal development, or financial wellness. Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Available to work flexible hours on campus.

Preferred:


Involved in campus societies, leadership, or student organisations. Experience in student marketing, promotions, or sales.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.

PPS Metropolis Engagement

Drive student registrations on the PPS Metropolis app. Promote regular app usage through peer-to-peer engagement, activations, and content sharing. Facilitate small campus events or info sessions to showcase app features and benefits.

2.

Lead Generation & Conversion Support

Identify and refer qualified leads to the GMS (Graduate Marketing Specialist). Educate students about the benefits of PPS membership.

3.

Brand Ambassador Duties

Represent the PPS brand in a professional and relatable way. Serve as one of the "go-to" contacts for PPS student queries on campus. Maintain a visible presence at key campus touchpoints (student centres, libraries, events).

4.

Reporting & Administration

Submit a weekly progress report (engagement stats, number of registrations, leads generated). Track incentives and performance metrics for submission to the regional manager. * Attend occasional virtual check-ins or training sessions as needed
