Monday: 12H30 - 17H00 (4.5 hrs), Tuesday: 12H30 - 21H30 (9 hrs), Wednesday: 12H30 - 17H00 (4.5 hrs), Thursday: 12H30 - 17H30 (5 hrs), Friday: 12H30 - 17H00 (4.5 hrs)

A lovely family is looking for a Xhosa speaking Au pair for their 2 children

Children's Ages:

8 years - Grade 2 and 5 years- Pre-K

School Holiday Hours:

Flexible - especially when the family travels or is home on holiday. *hours not worked while family is away will be banked for future use and be discussed in advance

Duties:

Collect from school and take to extra-murals, Assist with and supervise homework, Engage in intellectually stimulating and creative play, Prepare snacks and meals for the children, Bath children when needed, Occasional babysitting and weekend work (by arrangement), Travel with the family, Light household duties related to children: tidy rooms, clean up after meals/activities, fold & pack away laundry, fill dog bowls, empty dishwasher

Special Requirements:

Someone very flexible,Looking for a kind, loving, punctual, responsible yet fun au pair who fits naturally into the family. Must be an experienced and safe driver. Must be Xhosa-speaking, to help the little girl (and the family) become fluent in Xhosa. Active, creative, and enjoys cooking, baking, outdoor play (beach/park nearby), and building a trusting bond with the children. Should be firm when needed, as both kids are persuasive.

Start Date and Contract Term:

ASAP or 2nd week of January - Permanent

Salary:

R12 000pm + SARS rates per km.



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

*Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child-caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

*Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

*Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

*Must have a clear criminal record

*Must have a passion for children

*Must have Matric

*Must have a South African ID document.
