to assist with day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Xero Accounting Software and be comfortable managing bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT submissions, and month-end reports.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records using Xero
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance
Generate monthly management reports
Support payroll processing (optional)
Assist with financial clean-ups or migrations if required
Requirements:
Proven experience with
Xero
(certification a plus)
Strong knowledge of South African accounting and tax standards
Attention to detail, trustworthy, and able to work independently
