X3 Enrolled Nurses | Rehabilitation
Introduction
Are you confident and highly motivated lateral thinker looking to stretch yourself professionally? X3 challenging positions for Enrolled Nurses exists at Life Entabeni Acute Rehabilitation unit, KZN. The successful applicants will report to the Rehab Nursing Services Coordinator and will be expected to work as part of an interdisciplinary team, offering quality customer service. Life Entabeni Rehabilitation unit is part of an expanding network of rehabilitation units within Life Healthcare group.
Critical Outputs

• Patient Care - Identify patients' needs/problems by observing them directly or indirectly.
• Works well under RN supervision
• Knowledge of medications and of administration of prescribed medication and management of adverse effects.
• Participating in patient care meetings and set programmes.
• Recording and reporting - Contributes towards accurate record keeping by recording & reporting to RN / senior team members
• Ability to supervise subordinates
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary team and promotion of team cohesion
• Participating in & supervising group activities and follow-up on allocated tasks.
• Participation in the formulation, implementing and evaluating of in-service education.
• Engage in continuing education as per Human Resources Policies/Work Skills Plan.
• Health Education - participates in disseminating Health Information by giving health talks to patients, families, and visitors.

Requirements

• Matric/ National Senior Certificate
• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with SANC
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience as an enrolled nurse in a neurological or rehabilitation nursing setting would be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Focus on quality performance.
• Must be willing to fulfil a role in the ward according to the flexi-hours and rotation system
