Green Powered Technology (GPTech) is seeking a consultant Writer: to provide support to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Power Africa Communications Service (PACS) contract. The PACS program provides a wide variety of communication services in support of USAIDxe2x80x99s Power Africa's efforts. In providing these services, GPTech interacts with Power Africa staff, other partners supporting Power Africa, and Power Africa implementing partners.
The Writer will craft communication materials, assisting the Power Africa implementing partner in crafting and editing a variety of publications, including speeches, briefers, press releases, fact sheets, success stories, outreach-related items, and talking points. Materials will largely be focused on Power Africa and the energy infrastructure sector and beneficiaries of energy-related programs in sub-Saharan Africa and will be for various communication platforms, including websites, print (including training materials and large-format exhibit displays), video, and social media (such as human-interest blogs and LinkedIn articles). The position will be based in Gauteng, South Africa.
