Vacancy: Workshop Stores Supervisor and Stock Controller

We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced

Workshop Stores Supervisor and Stock Controller

engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop stores, including tools, stock, equipment, and consumables. Oversee accurate stock control processes and ensure inventory is well-maintained using

Sage Evolution

. Ensure proper storage, rotation, and organization of all materials in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines. Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely reordering to prevent shortages or delays. Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions where necessary. Liaise with internal departments to coordinate the supply and movement of materials and tools to meet operational needs. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the workshop stores environment. Train and guide junior staff (if applicable), ensuring proper procedures and protocols are followed.

Key Requirements:

Minimum

8 years of experience

managing and supervising workshop stores, including tools, stock, equipment, and consumables. Solid experience within the

engineering sector

is essential. Familiarity with

electrical rotating machines

is highly advantageous. Ability to accurately use measuring instruments such as

tape measures, micrometers, and vernier calipers

. Proficiency in

Sage Evolution

for inventory and stock management. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
