Workshop Senior Foreman (diesel Technician)
Job Description
Purpose of the Job
- Manage various workshop activities through the following areas:
o Ensuring that quality standards of work are maintained
o Ensuring adherence to housekeeping standards
o Ensuring that fleet down time is kept to a minimum without compromising quality
o Ensuring that the workshops maintain a good standard of productivity and efficiency
o Ensuring that the correct equipment is available to do the work and that equipment is in good working order
- Carry out small scale disciplinary measures.
- Enforce and manage risk and safety programme.
- Manage fleet operation.
- Manage performance of staff and other small scale HR requirements.
Experience with Actros and Arocs Mercedes Trucks an advantage
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Trade Certificate and minimum technical N3.
- 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Ability to communicate in English
- Computer skills at intermediate level.
