Job Description




Danfoss is looking for a Workshop Operator to join our team. If you have experience within an industrial manufacturing environment, producing hose assemblies, whilst ensuring quality standards are met, then this position would be well-suited to your capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following,

  • Ensuring that the TPM is carried out as per schedule and autonomous checks are completed daily, and deviations are reported.
  • Participating in non-conformances investigations and root cause analysis whilst implementing preventative actions when required.
  • Making safety a priority for the site and fellow team members by reporting Safety Observations.
  • Attending customer callouts, after hours/weekends/public holiday.
  • Participating in yearly stock take for both Metals and Hose which will include working O/T and on weekends.
  • Supporting other sites/departments when required.
Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
  • A Grade 12 Certificate and 3 years' experience as a workshop operator.
  • Able to use measuring tools such as measuring tape, steel ruler, pressure gauges and digital / analogue verniers.
  • Good command of the English language (written, verbal, reading).
  • Excellent time management skills.
