Job Summary
Our client based in Coega IDZ work in the FMCG / Food / Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries. Knowledge of Cutting Welding and grinding experience Fabricating these products is essential.
The Workshop Manager/Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operation, organisation, and development of the workshop, including staff supervision, project management, quality control, equipment maintenance, materials management, and client communication.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 Years Relevant Experience - Workshop/ Manufacturing/Fabrication Environment
- Minimum Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or Equivalent Qualification
- Computer Literacy (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Valid Driver's License
- Clear Criminal Record
- Leadership and People Management Skills
- Workshop Operations: Manage Staff and Contractors; Resource Allocations; Goods Receiving; Consumable Allocations; Equipment Management.
- Quality: Manage & Maintain Manufacturing Quality; Provide Technical Advice/Support; Resolve Quality Concerns and/or Errors.
- Health & Safety: Workshop SHE Compliance; Conduct Risk Assessments, Ensure Equipment Safety; Maintain Records/Registers, Train Staff, PPE Compliance.
- Supervision & Development: Recruit, Train and Supervise Staff; Encourage Skill Development; Manage Performance.
- Administration & Reporting: Attend Meetings, Communicate Project Progress/Issues, Weekly/Daily Timesheets.
- General: Maintain/Improve Workshop Facilities, Support Management, Training Opportunities.
