Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Supervise workshop staff and daily operations

Manage vehicle servicing, breakdowns, and downtime

Ensure quality control and workshop safety compliance

Manage stock, tools and parts procurements and procedures

Implementation of new systems

Management of administration such as invoice capturing, stock control

Management of policies and procedures

Oversee licensing, trailer inspections, and COFs
Requirements:

Excellent leadership and team management abilities Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and quality control Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Hands-on and solution-driven approach Knowledge of workshop safety and regulatory compliance Stock and tool management experience
Experience

Grade 12 (Matric) 5+ years' experience in a transport or mechanical workshop 3+ years in a management role Strong technical knowledge of trucks and trailers Valid Code EC/EC1 driver's licence Proficient in Microsoft Office Available for after-hours support when needed
