Job Summary We are a leading and well-established auto body repair and panel beating workshop is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and lead our technical team. Position Overview The Workshop Manager will be responsible for managing the repair workflow, ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard, and maintaining a productive, safety-compliant working environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with proven experience in auto body repair and team leadership. Key Responsibilities o Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, including panel beating, spray painting, and mechanical repairs. o Allocate tasks and supervise technicians to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. o Coordinate with the Estimator to prioritize and manage repair schedules. o Monitor job progress, perform quality control inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. o Manage parts ordering, inventory control, and equipment maintenance. o Lead, train, and support workshop staff, including apprentices and tradespeople. o Ensure excellent customer service is upheld throughout the repair process. Qualifications & Experience o Minimum 5 years' experience in auto body repair, including team leadership or workshop supervision. o In-depth technical knowledge of panel beating, structural repairs, and spray painting processes. o Strong organisational and time management skills. o Ability to interpret estimates and technical drawings. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o A trade qualification in panel beating or spray painting (preferred).
