Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
Education and experience:
Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
Experience on trailers and taillights.
Valid Code 14.
Experience at supervisor level.
Computer literate - MS office.
Skills and Knowledge:
Develop and maintain a sound relationship with suppliers.
Manpower utilization.
Need to be able to work shifts.
Medical fit.
Job specification - Key Performance areas:
Oversee and implement the fleet maintenance.
Manage stock levels and the purchase and replacement parts and equipment.
Manage performance of a shift or skilled and semiskilled artisans.
Ensure successful implementation, monitor and management of SHEQ PROCEUDERES.
Attend to breakdowns and implement maintenance schedules.
Ensure housekeeping is to standard.
Monthly toolbox talks.
Monthly inspection of all workshop tools and technician tools.
Ensure load testing is done annually.
Load testing of all workshop tools.
Ensure timesheets and attendance registers is up to date daily.
Quality inspections daily.
Manage job cards and submit for closing of job cards.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Pay: Up to R25000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
