Our client requires a skilled and organized Administrator to join their busy mechanical workshop. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in administrative roles, particularly in a workshop or mechanical environment, and
will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, coordinating workshop schedules, and ensuring efficient operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Scheduling: Diary management; prioritising projects and ensuring that timelines are adhered to.
Invoicing and receiving payments on Pastel.
Procurement and stock management; maintaining updated inventory records.
Ordering of spares.
Be a liaison between the workshop team and the clients.
Maintain organized records of all transactions and project documentation.
Skills and Experience
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Bilingualism in English and Afrikaans
Good writing skills in English.
Knowledge of outboard motors.
Matriculation.
Driver's licence.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Basic understanding of Pastel invoicing software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with workshop operations, project scheduling, and materials management.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Work shifts every 2nd Saturday.
No leave over festive season.
