Job Description
Job Purpose
To manage the daily activities and operations at a Wastewater Treatment Work(s) to ensure effluent discharge that meets the License Standards/Best Practices and disposal of sludge according to legislation, in order to achieve the organizational strategic objectives.
Key Performance Areas
To manage the daily activities and operations at a Wastewater Treatment Work to ensure effluent discharge that meets the License Standards/Best Practices and disposal of sludge according to legislation, in order to achieve the organizational strategic objectives. Plan the optimum use of infrastructure to achieve the departments objectives. Interact with all departments in ERWAT to ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures. Manage costs within authorized budget.
Requirements
Wastewater Treatment NQF 5 and 12 years' relevant experience;
OR
BSc Degree / B-Eng / B-Tech (all in appropriate field) and 8 years' relevant experience. * 4 years' managerial experience required.
