Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Matric Certificate
- Valid Drivers licence is essential
- Computer Literacy is essential (MS Office) and Syspro
- Minimum 2 years experience in WIP manufacturing processes or roofing from the Steel industry
- Experience in stock takes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Correctly interpret and understand sales orders and stock orders
- Creating jobs on Syspro immediately, accurately as sales orders and branch stock orders come in
- Printing job cards and attaching the necessary documents
- Ensure that customer names are on the job cards, if they do not appear it must be manually inputted
- Liaising with sales and branches regarding job information to ensure effective and accurate processing of all documents
- Cancelling and revising of job cards on Syspro
- Filing
- Use the "coil availability" report or Syspro to determine material availability
- Change priorities depending on material
- Report to sales/branches on any sales order thats been on the no coil report for more than a day
- Amend the dates on orders/job cards if no coil is available
- Assist in the preparation of stock take
- Participate in quarterly stock takes
- Assist manager with ad hoc items as and when needed
- Assist with work when other employees are off duty
