A leading boutique wine estate in Stellenbosch, the Cape Winelands is looking for a Wine Lounge Runner (fixed-term contract) to support the kitchen and service team. The role requires energy, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Description
As a Wine Lounge Runner, you'll assist the service and culinary teams by maintaining cleanliness, managing table setups, and ensuring smooth operation throughout service. This position is perfect for a hardworking, service-driven individual looking to gain experience in a luxury hospitality setting. (Fixed Term Contract)
Key Responsibilities
- Support kitchen and front-of-house teams during service.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Assist with plating, polishing glassware, and washing dishes.
- Maintain clean and stocked work areas at all times.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of service stations.
- Ensure guests receive seamless service throughout their visit.
- 1-2 years' hospitality or service experience.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Friendly, positive, and willing to learn.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
