Job Summary ? Wildlife Coordinator Opportunity | Bloemfontein ? Kendrick Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a stunning luxury lodge in the Bloemfontein area. The lodge is searching for a passionate Wildlife Coordinator to join their Reserve Team. This role is ideal for someone dedicated to rewilding, biodiversity monitoring and driving long-term conservation strategies. This position is open to a single candidate or a couple, provided the partner is able to fill a Front of House role. ? What the role involves: o Implementing and driving conservation strategies across the reserve o Conducting biodiversity assessments and monitoring wildlife populations o Managing conservation data, compiling reports and supporting long-term planning o Raising awareness around sustainability and eco-friendly practices o Leading, mentoring and motivating conservation staff o Overseeing re-wilding projects and animal habituation o General maintenance involvement where needed What's needed: o A relevant degree in Wildlife Conservation or a similar field o Proven experience in conservation, game reserve management, breeding and hunting o Strong project management and reporting abilities o Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement o Solid knowledge of local flora, fauna and regional conservation challenges o FGASA is an advantage o Telemetry and tracking experience are beneficial o Dangerous Game behaviour knowledge o Strong analytical and scientific wildlife management mindset o Good maintenance knowledge ?
