Description
We are opening a brand-new showroom in Paarl and have an exciting position available for a Senior Showroom Consultant!
Main purpose of the job
Promote and sells Hertex merchandise, sample books and partnership programmes to customers and maintains the image and oversees the effective operations of the showroom to meet sales targets.
Minimum requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Interior Decorating or related field preferred, at least 3 years sales experience in an Interior Decorating or related environment, experience of coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage, own reliable transport, and National Senior Certificate
Ideal candidate
Candidates should have the following skills, knowledge, and essential behaviours: good telephone etiquette, excellent communication skills (written and spoken), good presentation skills, good with building and maintaining customer relationships, excellent customer service and after-sales service, good with selling products and concepts, professional with good business etiquette, be assertive with drive and ambition, be decisive and able to prioritise, be determined, able to cope with stress, good with time management and activity planning, able to take action, initiative and follow through, and creativity and innovative thinking.
Main duties
Maintain showroom operations by maintaining the set showroom standards, coordinating deliveries, managing stock of cuttings, sample hangers and books, building productive relationships with customers by advising and selling to customers in the showroom, and supporting field sales by supporting the internal sales consultants.We offer a basic salary with commission, participation in the sales incentive scheme and benefits.
