Wellness Assistant - ConstantiaFull job descriptionAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Customer ExperienceBe professionalApproach all customers, greet, smile and offer assistanceIdentify customer needs in order to provide optimal experienceTakes responsibility for serving the customer and finding solutions to customers' queriesApply Selling SkillsMeet customers needs and expectations by asking, listening to and advising customers as to options/services/products availableOffers alternatives to the customer if merchandise is not availableAchievement of sales and unit targetsKnows what new lines and promotions have come into the storeSpecialise in all departments through focussed supplier training and prescribed booklist completionStore Disciplines & ProductivityOpening & closing procedures are followedTo ensure all merchandising principles are in place at all times and that every item is ticketedMinimise ShinkageEnsure accurate stock counts & checking of product expiry datesCash handling - assist at point of sale and with cash upsJOB SPECIFICATIONS: Grade 12 Relevant diploma / short course qualification (Health and wellness modality / Effective selling (retail) / Product specific knowledge) and/or Minimum 3 years retail sales experience (2 years industry specific) Fully computer literate Very good written and verbal communication skills Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours Competency Assessment AchievedOFFER: Remuneration based on a 'cost to company' model and performance incentives.
