Welder/Fabricator required:

High end Residential interior Design Firm in Ballito is looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator for their new manufacturing entity.

We require an experienced Welder/Fabricator with sound knowledge in work-shop fabrication/shopfitting to assist in the manufacturing of bespoke furniture and other various products.

Requirements

Welding qualification 3 years + of experience as a welder in relevant industry The applicate should be able to start immediately. The candidate must live within our geographical area - Ballito (KwaZulu-Natal) and have reliable means to get to work.

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

Sound Knowledge of tools and materials used in the assigned area of responsibility. Knowledge of welding specifications of many types of metal. Prepare/cut required shapes and weld according to structure plans Effectively operate welding units and equipment to fabricate, repair, maintain and install metal items and equipment Understand and follow oral and written instructions Ability to plan, organise and control own work effort, a very keen eye for detail is required with good communication skills - English Inspect work and fill/repair as necessary Clean and maintain all equipment and tools and maintain a clean working area Carry out tasks to meet applicable safety standards, targets, criteria, and deadlines and to maximize productivity and profitability Carry out tasks within prescribed time limits Assist team members on projects to ensure efficient operations and ensure targets are met

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R6500,00 - R8000,00 per month
