Job Summary: Welder / Shop Steward
Salary R20k CTC depending on experience
We are seeking a skilled and certified Welder to join our team.
The ideal candidate must possess a Red Seal certification in welding and have extensive
experience working with stainless steel sheets of varying thicknesses.
This role requires precision and expertise in handling 0.9mm, 1.2mm, and 1.5mm stainless
steel sheets to ensure high-quality results that meet our standards.
Experience managing a small team would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding tasks with a focus on stainless steel sheets (0.9mm, 1.2mm, and 1.5mm).
Ensure welding quality meets technical specifications and safety standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Maintain and inspect welding equipment for optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
Red Seal Certification in Welding (mandatory).
Proven experience working with stainless steel sheets (0.9mm, 1.2mm, and 1.5mm).
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, precise welds.
Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
