DUTIES

Opening all welded pole covers for street light maintenance tender using suitable hand tools (grinder)

Welding shut all access hatches on street light maintenance tender using suitable welding equipment and best practices for welding galvanised poles

Opening kiosks / Distribution Boards / Mini subs as directed by the client and project manager using suitable hand tools (grinder)

Closing kiosks / Distribution Boards / Mini subs as directed by the client and project manager using suitable welding equipment and best practices for welding galvanised sheet metal.

Minor fabrication and repair work as required from time to time. Fitting vandal proofing to street light luminaries from time to time.

Trade Tested Welder capable of using standard arc welding with slag coated ferror rods.

Capable of operating a petrol/diesel driven generator set.

Code B driver's license and capable of driving company vehicle.

Capable of working in a team and in the greater Western Cape area or away from home from time to time.

Matric / NCV Level 4 / Equivalent Qualification -

Trade Tested &

2 Years relevant experience

Capable of working in a team and in the greater Western Cape area or away from home from time to time.
