ABOUT THE POSITION

This position is full-time on-site with possibility of remote or hybrid arrangements.

The Web Designer is pivotal in creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites. This position requires a combination of artistic flair, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for crafting visually appealing web content that delivers an outstanding user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Create visually appealing and responsive website layouts with the latest industry trends. Collaborate with the development team to ensure that design concepts are implemented seamlessly. Develop captivating graphics, images, and visual elements to enhance website aesthetics. Maintain brand consistency and visual integrity across all design materials. Produce detailed design mock-ups and prototypes to guide the development process. Seek and incorporate feedback to refine designs and to create designs that prioritize user needs and ease of navigation. Create eye-catching visual content for digital marketing materials, presentations and other branding assets. Ensure all design elements are optimized for the web, including image compression and load time considerations. Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure websites and digital assets are error-free, cross-browser compatible, and responsive across different devices and screen sizes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Handlebars, Framework 7, Visual Studio Code & GitHub JavaScript, jQuery, Cordova, PHP, JSON, SQL knowledge is advantageous Analytical skills Testing and debugging skills Search engine optimization skills Responsive design skills Interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Excellent visual design skills. Knowledge of browser compatibility across multiple platforms and devices. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines. Self-motivated and adaptable, with a desire to stay updated on industry and technology trends.

Education and Experience

Proven experience as a Web Designer, minimum two years of related experience. Proficiency in front-end web development. Good understanding of search engine optimization principles. Proficiency in design software and web design tools. Excellent creativity and an artistic eye for design.
