Job Description
We are looking for a passionate & experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Tables at Nitida Restaurant, Durbanville Wine Valley Rd. 2 years plus experience as a Sous Chef or a similar roll is a prerequisite, non-negotiable. Assist the Executive Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen & team, menu and function planning etc. You will be required to maintain a high quality of service, food quality, presentation, food cost, cleanliness, hygiene & ordering of stock etc. Experience in all areas in kitchen will be to your advantage/ flexible, but not a prerequisite. Professional training is a prerequisite. Own reliable transport essential, non-negotiable. Must be presentable, excellent communication skills, team player, work & function under pressure, punctual & teachable. Passion for the industry. Able to work weekends, public holidays, overtime when required. This is a great opportunity for growth, for the right candidate!
