Your typical day in a radiology environment includes:
Working closely with the rest of the team to provide superior diagnostic and interventional services.
Collaborating with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure accurate, timely patient diagnoses.
Managing patient care with compassion and professionalism, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit with us.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12
Qualification / Certification relevant to a WCA environment essential
Short Course on self-development and soft skills such as Effective Communication, Conflict Management, Planning & Time-Management, Emotional Intelligence etc advantageous
Intermediate Skills on Word, Excel, Outlook
At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in a healthcare environment
Experience with working with CompSol or any other WCA scheme
Computer literate, preferably on systems within a healthcare environment and able to adjust to using different technologies
Good interpersonal skills and be able to develop and maintain positive relationships with branches, hospital staff, patients and CompSol / WCA schemes
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with people clearly and effectively at all levels (both verbal and non-verbal communication)
Strong ability to plan and prioritise workload
Main Responsibilities:
Verification of all WCA documents.
Liaison with companies to obtain missing or incomplete information.
Ensure all referrals are properly dated, signed, and that examination requests correspond to typed reports.
Ensure corrections are correctly posted or updated on HIMS.
Verification of claim numbers on the CompEasy website.
Obtain and confirm company letters of Good Standing on DOL website.
Manage account switching on HIMS as required.
Follow up on outstanding claims and unpaid accounts.
Provide support to the team during staff absences due to leave or illness.
Handle WCA-related inquiries efficiently and professionally.
Maintain an organized filing system for claims.
Conduct follow-ups on reminders and queries related to claims.
Email Companies and sms patients regarding outstanding accepted claim numbers.
Attending to emails received on the WCA internal mail.
Follow-up on non-accepted claims.
Resolving queries on the CompSol portal.
Assisting Companies or 3rd parties with x-ray reports if there is a signed WCA consent form to assist in getting claims accepted.
Updating CompSol portal when accounts were handed over or written off
Ensure you understand the POPI Act legislation, the protection of the disclosure of information of our patients / members and our own staff members and the impact thereof on our practice.

Hours of Work:
Your working hours will be on a shift-rotational basis such as:
07:30 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 16:30 (alternates every 2nd week)
