We have an amazing opportunity for a Water Retaining Structures Engineer based in Northern Cape, UpingtonIndustry: Civil Engineering/InfrastructureLevel: ExperiencedKey Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in the design and analysis of water retaining structures such as reservoirs, dams, tanks, and water treatment facilities.Proficiency in structural engineering software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards for water retaining structures.Experience in conducting hydraulic and hydrological analyses to assess water loads and environmental impacts.Familiarity with construction techniques and materials used in water infrastructure projects.Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including architects, hydraulic engineers, and environmental specialists.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to stakeholders and clients.Personal Attributes:Strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with a focus on qualityStrong organizational and time management skillsIf you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to or contact us at XXX-XXXX.
