We are partnering with a leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm that is actively seeking a proactive and driven professional to join their dynamic Water team based in Cape Town. This is a full-time, site-based contract opportunity to contribute to a major municipal infrastructure project for the City of Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing dedicated Site Supervision and Construction Monitoring services on a major construction site, working under the guidance of a senior engineer.
Conducting thorough inspections of construction works to verify contractor compliance with project drawings and specifications.
Assisting with quantity verification and the accurate preparation of monthly contractor payment certificates.
Supporting comprehensive contract administration tasks.
Participating in technical workshops and assisting with on-site design solutions as needed.
Recording and updating as-built information on construction drawings.
Minimum Requirements:
BSc / BEng / BTech Degree in Civil Engineering.
Proven experience with construction monitoring and site supervision on construction projects.
A strong understanding of construction contract documentation, including Bills of Quantities, Specifications, and Drawings.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Prior exposure to the design of municipal water and sewer services.
