Job Title: Warranty/Costing Clerk
Location: Kempton Park
Reports to: Service Manager
Job summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Warranty/Costing Clerk. The primary responsibilities of this role will include managing warranty claims and costs, updating and maintaining warranty records, and supporting the warranty department in various administrative tasks. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Process warranty claims and determine eligibility based on company policies and guidelines
Monitor and track warranty costs and expenses
Maintain accurate and up-to-date warranty records and documentation
Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to resolve warranty issues and inquiries
Prepare reports and analysis on warranty claims and costs
Assist in the development and implementation of warranty programs and policies
Support the warranty department in various administrative tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma
2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of warranty processes and procedures is an asset
