Job Description
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / equivalent
- At least 5 years steel industry experience as a Warehouse Supervisor (knowledge of steel and tube products)
- Computer literate on Ms Office Suite and Syspro
- Own Transport and a valid drivers licence is essential
- Have a stable work record and contactable references
- Of sober habits
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet
- Able to work retail hours
- Oversee the entire warehouse and logistics function
- Knowledge of pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, and flanges will be an advantage
- Supervise Warehouse Staff
- Oversee the receiving of stock into the warehouse
- Ensure the warehouse layout is always adhered to
- Ensure goods received are per order and specification
- Ensuring supply of the products are actioned per the company procedures and
- Ensure that despatched stock is loaded accurately and are checked as per company systems.
- Oversee and action daily stock checks
- Plan and coordinate the team, in accordance with the defined objectives and procedures and carrying out the relevant follow ups
- Ensure housekeeping is practiced daily
