Warehouse Supervisor

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the warehousing (Inbound/Receiving, Storage, Outbound picking and loading) of our products in an efficient and cost-effective manner, while ensuring high levels of stock security, rotation and internal & external customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff management (forklift drivers, general workers)

2. Assets management (Equipment management including repair & maintenance)

3. Stock management (final check of all dispatched stock) and stock rotation.

4. Human Resources Management (Own and TES staffing, time and attendance and disciplinary)

5. Depots, factory shop, collecting customers and company representative's collections picking and loading

6. Deadline driven

7. Weekend work as and when required

8. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards in warehousing processes

9. Train and mentor distribution team members to enhance their skills and performance

10. Daily stock counts, risk counts and monthly stock counts

11. Housekeeping

12. Health & Safety compliance

13. Manage principal stock counts, security, preparation and checking of stock received and for delivery

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of matric.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the multi-temperature food distribution

3. Proven track record managing a team

4. Clear criminal record

Skills & attributes:

1. Strong administration, analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

2. Excellent communication abilities

3. Ability to lead and motivate a team

4. Able to work in a chilled environment with temperatures of 4?C

5. Forklift license will be advantageous

6. Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel)

7. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R14000,00 - R18000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
