Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Controller or Warehouse Manager
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Experience in the construction, paint and cement industry is advantageous
- Experience managing employees
Supervising Staff:
- Directing and managing warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, training and evaluating performance.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts and resolving discrepancies
- Overseeing the processes for receiving incoming goods, storing them properly and preparing shipments for delivery
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Coordinating with other departments, such as logistics, procurement and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensuring that warehouse equipment is properly maintained and serviced
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory, shipments and other relevant data
- Ensuring that orders are picked, packed and shipped accurately and on time
